問：為什么以“字符數(shù)（不計空格）”為統(tǒng)計標準而不是“字數(shù)”或者“中文字符和朝鮮語單詞”？

答：以“字符數(shù)（不計空格）”已經(jīng)普遍成為翻譯行業(yè)字數(shù)統(tǒng)計的標準。在進行文章的字數(shù)統(tǒng)計之前，我們建議客戶或者自動刪去不必要進入統(tǒng)計的英文字符。剩下的漢字部分，包括標點符號和上下標都需要進入字數(shù)統(tǒng)計。因為我們處理的文章作為整體，標點符號是可以決定句子意思的元素，也就是說我們同樣將標點符號的意思考慮進譯文中了?；瘜W式，數(shù)學公式上下標細節(jié)我們也都會考慮，并負責耐心的在譯文中準確的書寫，而處理這樣的符號絲毫不比翻譯更節(jié)省時間。我們建議作者將不需要翻譯的內(nèi)容包括符號盡可能刪去，這樣將使得字數(shù)統(tǒng)計更加合理。

問：翻譯公司做筆譯的準確度能達多少？

答：首先翻譯都是人工操作的，只要是人工操作，準確度就不可能控制在百分之百。請您一定要牢記著一點，國外的很多翻譯公司都會在譯文最后注上一句：由于全部人工翻譯，對于產(chǎn)生的誤差不承擔責任。還有，翻譯的準確度不能用百分之幾來考量的，如果翻譯有點小誤差了，但是事兒辦成了，就說明翻譯是成功的。但是翻譯的挺好，文辭考究，但是有個數(shù)字錯了導致最后結(jié)果的失敗，這個翻譯的價值也會降低。

答：同聲翻譯是一個高強度的工作。一般情況下，同聲翻譯員每次連續(xù)翻譯不得超過20-30分鐘，所以需要2-3 名譯員交替進行工作以保證會議的正常進行。這也就解釋了為什么1個小時的會，同樣是需要請兩名翻譯，除非在極其特殊的情況下，我們一般不建議只用一名翻譯。
