1.遇有apparatus、device、means三字或其中任兩個字出現(xiàn)在同一份說明書中時，建議其譯名分別如下：

(1)  apparatus；arrangement：裝置 

(2) device：器件 

(3) means：構(gòu)件。

但若未出現(xiàn)在同一份說明書中時，則均可譯成裝置。

2.et al.：等人

3.means for V＋ing時在means前面加適當(dāng)?shù)淖g聲修飾詞，以免同一份中文說明書中出現(xiàn)多個 "裝置" 時，不知究竟指的是那一個。

4.this invention,the subject invention,the instant invention,the present invention 一律譯成"本發(fā)明"。

5.substantially:應(yīng)視前后文譯為實(shí)質(zhì)上、幾乎完全、相當(dāng)、或大體上

6.preferred, preferential 可譯成"優(yōu)選"

7.those skilled in the art所屬領(lǐng)域的技術(shù)人員；

8.methods known in the art此項(xiàng)技術(shù)中已知的方法

9.are well known已為我們所熟知

10.these include, but are not limited to其包括(但不限于)

11.alternative embodiment替代(具體)實(shí)施例；另一實(shí)施例 

alternatively或者；另一選擇為

12.aspect 可譯成"方面"、"觀點(diǎn)"及"特點(diǎn)"，例如:

•in one embodiment of this aspect在此方面的一實(shí)施例中

•in one aspect一方面

•in a further aspect另一方面

•in still a further aspect另一方面

13.請參考以下的譯法:

•it is to benoted應(yīng)注意的是
