　　To appear among your friends or in public。
　　簡(jiǎn)單的記，就是露臉。例如：
　　She stayed at home, afraid to show her face。
　　Shut/ slam the door in somebody’s face
　　1 to shut a door hard when somebody is trying to come in
　　2 to refuse to talk to somebody or meet them, in a rude way
　　這個(gè)表達(dá)有兩個(gè)意思，除了字面意思外，另一個(gè)就跟我們的拒之門(mén)外很像了。
