這兩天微博上瘋傳“經(jīng)濟(jì)適用女”的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，從身高到收入，可謂面面俱到；之前經(jīng)濟(jì)適用男的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)也曾讓不少人爭(zhēng)相對(duì)號(hào)。在白富美、高富帥真假難辨的今天，經(jīng)濟(jì)適用男女對(duì)很多人來(lái)說(shuō)倒更顯穩(wěn)當(dāng)妥帖。
"Budget wife" is the female counterpart of "budget husband," a concept introduced at least four yearsago. The 2009 publication of the book Me and My Budget Husband popularized the term, and its 2012transformation into a TV drama series fueled the term's further spread.
經(jīng)濟(jì)適用女（budget wife）是經(jīng)濟(jì)適用男（budget husband）的對(duì)照版，經(jīng)濟(jì)適用男這一概念至少出現(xiàn)在四年前。2009年，一本名為《我和我的經(jīng)濟(jì)適用男》的書(shū)讓這個(gè)說(shuō)法得到普及，而2012年這本書(shū)改編的電視劇讓這個(gè)詞被更多人熟知。
The word "budget husband" originates from the word "budget housing", government subsidized publichousing for low-income households. As the name implies, budget husbands' economic power trails that of"diamond husbands" -- intelligent, educated, rich, and well-mannered men from respectable families.Nonetheless, a budget husband is the new ideal among Chinese female white-collar workers.
“經(jīng)濟(jì)適用男”一詞來(lái)源于“經(jīng)濟(jì)適用房”，即政府為低收入家庭出資提供的公共性住房。由名字可以看出，經(jīng)濟(jì)適用男的經(jīng)濟(jì)實(shí)力不如那些“鉆石男”，即來(lái)自上流家庭、聰明、有學(xué)識(shí)、有錢(qián)且有修養(yǎng)的男子。不過(guò)，經(jīng)濟(jì)適用男據(jù)說(shuō)是中國(guó)女性白領(lǐng)們新近的理想對(duì)象。
