國(guó)外駕車大體上是這么幾種情況：
有的國(guó)家是直接承認(rèn)中國(guó)駕照，比如瑞士，美國(guó)，你帶不帶翻譯件都是合法駕車。舊版駕照沒有英文，帶一個(gè)英文翻譯件只是方便該國(guó)車行和警察了解駕照內(nèi)容。新版駕照完全沒必要。
有的國(guó)家承認(rèn)翻譯公證之后的中國(guó)駕照，比如德國(guó)，澳洲，但必須在規(guī)定的翻譯機(jī)構(gòu)翻譯公證，一般來講必須找取得他們國(guó)家翻譯資格的人進(jìn)行翻譯，中國(guó)公證處翻譯沒用的。
有的國(guó)家不承認(rèn)中國(guó)駕照，同時(shí)也不允許旅游者考當(dāng)?shù)伛{照，那你除非另有其他國(guó)家駕照，否則怎么都無法合法駕車。比如日本，韓國(guó)。
總之無論哪一種情況，新版駕照的公證處翻譯都毫無意義的。至于租車行的要求是另一碼事。那你要個(gè)別問租車行了�！赡苣愫戏{車但很難租到車，也許你輕易租到車但并沒有合法駕車的資格。
