國外駕車大體上是這么幾種情況：
有的國家是直接承認(rèn)中國駕照，比如瑞士，美國，你帶不帶翻譯件都是合法駕車。舊版駕照沒有英文，帶一個英文翻譯件只是方便該國車行和警察了解駕照內(nèi)容。新版駕照完全沒必要。
有的國家承認(rèn)翻譯公證之后的中國駕照，比如德國，澳洲，但必須在規(guī)定的翻譯機(jī)構(gòu)翻譯公證，一般來講必須找取得他們國家翻譯資格的人進(jìn)行翻譯，中國公證處翻譯沒用的。
有的國家不承認(rèn)中國駕照，同時也不允許旅游者考當(dāng)?shù)伛{照，那你除非另有其他國家駕照，否則怎么都無法合法駕車。比如日本，韓國。
總之無論哪一種情況，新版駕照的公證處翻譯都毫無意義的。至于租車行的要求是另一碼事。那你要個別問租車行了�！赡苣愫戏{車但很難租到車，也許你輕易租到車但并沒有合法駕車的資格。
