MARKET WATCH: Crude prices continue upward momentum

The October contract for benchmark US light, sweet crudes on the New York Mercantile Exchange closed at $108.37/bbl on Sept. 5, an increase of $1.14 from the previous day. The November crude contract increased $1.08 to $107.67/bbl.
Heating oil for October delivery improved 0.2¢ to settle at $3.14/gal on NYMEX. Reformulated gasoline stock for oxygenate blending for October decreased 2.8¢ to $2.83/gal.
The October natural gas contract was down by 10.8¢ to close at a rounded $3.56/MMbtu on NYMEX. On the US spot market, the gas price at Henry Hub, La., was a rounded $3.69/MMbtu, virtually unchanged from Sept. 4.
In London, the October IPE contract for North Sea Brent crude climbed 35¢ to $115.26/bbl. The September contract for gas oil settled at $963.75/tonne, up $3 from the previous session. The October contract rose by $2.50, settling at $964/tonne.
The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries reported its basket of 12 benchmark crudes was down 8¢ closing at $111.47/bbl on Sept. 5.

美國(guó)基準(zhǔn)輕甜原油（又稱“輕質(zhì)、低硫原油”）10月合約，9月5日在紐約商品期貨交易所收于108.37美元/桶，比前一個(gè)交易日上漲1.14美元；11月原油合約上漲1.08美元，達(dá)到107.67美元/桶。
NYMEX（紐約商交所）取暖油10月交貨合約上漲0.2美分，收于3.14美元/加侖，10月交貨加氧新配方汽油合約下跌2.8美分，收于2.83美元/加侖。
紐約商交所10月天然氣合約下跌10.8美分，大約3.56美元/百萬英熱單位附近；在美國(guó)現(xiàn)貨市場(chǎng)上，路易斯安那的亨利港的天然氣價(jià)格大約在3.69美元/百萬英熱單位，自9月4日以來幾乎沒有變動(dòng)。
